At Geelong Community & Care Services (GCCS), we understand that plans can change.
Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful to both participants and support workers.
All cancellation terms are outlined in your Service Agreement.
We request a minimum of 7 days’ notice for cancellations or changes to scheduled supports
Short-notice cancellations may be charged in line with your Service Agreement
This helps us manage rosters and continue providing reliable services.
A cancellation may be considered short-notice if:
Notice is not provided within the agreed timeframe
The support worker is unable to be reassigned
In these cases, the scheduled support may be charged as per your agreement.
Cancellation charges may not apply when:
There is an emergency or unexpected situation
Notice is given within the agreed timeframe
Services are cancelled by GCCS
Each situation is reviewed fairly and respectfully.
